That cape makes me think of the crazy guy from Akira. It looks better than the side skirt though.
"I still function" makes me think of Megatron from TF the movie.
Nice detail on the cracks. I think the shading actually could have been better though.

Yeah, I admit I was a bit lazy on the shading-- this was a character sketch that ended up becoming more than just a sketch-- so any time I spent on it was more than intended, hehe.

And the character of Metal Sonic is a lot like Bass. Think about it - he doesn't care much for ruling the world, all he really wants to do is kill Sonic.

The shading is amazing, the electricity coming from the broken areas on his body is a nice touch, and Metallix himself simply looks so... Hot damn this is amazing...
