Auron from Final Fantasy X. Its a different view then a lot of the other shots I have posted, plus its outdoors...Photo by during a quick shoot out in Tampa.

If you don't mind my asking, what did you make the sword out of?

its mostly wood, with some air dry clay for the yellow detail. then a layer of fiberglass resin over it. the handle is wrapped in leather and green lace.Β

It looks great, I actually thought it was metal! What kind of glue did you use to attach the clay to wood?Β

superglue... but then the resin over it kinda sealed it on a bit more

Pretty nice, but looking at this image a random thought of Auron's outfit in general has crossed my mind. He looks like he was just released out of hospital. He has his neck and his arm broken.....

Auron was supposed to be drawn by three different artists of our community, but one of them noted me just a few days ago that he won't be able to draw Auron in the next time and asked me to find a different image for the gallery. I thought a cosplay image instead of a drawn one would be a cool additon for the gallery, are you fine with that?
