If you do not mind the curiosity, is there subtle alien life somewhere in the scene?

I wouldn't mind at all and would love to - curiosity is a powerful force! - but am on a cell phone, so sadly cannot.
If it is more specific, the leftmost, uppermost point of it (the "head") begins just a little to the right of the horizontal middle, and about 40% down from the top.

Could be, or I could be seeing things as well - if it was not intentional, would be the latter. Cannot seem to find the peculiar picture it reminded of either; used to be on Wikisource. But be it as it may with the gargantuan gossamer gastropods, undoubtedly a fine painting.
