You: "Ugh, what time is it?"

You reached over to the side of your bed and grabbed your alarm clock from your nightstand to check the time.

You: 7:00... Still that early? Oh well, might as well get up and get ready. Classes are gonna start up in a few hours, anyway.

You got up and was just about to start getting changed when you looked over to where your teammate were sleeping. You all took the corners of the room for more spaces. There were two small book shelves, two desk, and two closets, all shared with you and Sky with the half, and with Tealle and Claire with the other half. You walked into the bathroom and locked the door. After a few minutes, you had finally exited the bathroom with your uniform on. You had, however, put your trench coat on instead of your blazer you had been provided as you felt the most comfortable in it, leaving you only with a white shirt and tie under the coat.

Better get the whole team up or we're gonna be late, you thought. You first walked over to Tealle. A slight shake was enough to wake her up. She sat up and stretched her arms out.

Tealle: (Yawn) Oh, good morning (Y/N). Did you have a good sleep?

You: Tch. Barely got any. You can thank Claire for that. Won't stop snoring every second of the minute.

Tealle giggled a bit at your comment, which caused you to start cracking up, ending up waking both Sky and Claire on the process.

Sky: Morning, Tealle, (Y/N).

Claire: Ugh, still tired. Give me ten more minutes, cap.

You: You could do that if you want to, while the rest can listen to the great idea I just came up with. But first things first, I suggest you all get changed into your uniforms, so we can all finally go once classes begin.

They all nodded, except for Claire who continued snoring on her bed. You rolled your eyes at this as you conjured up an icy bolt from your palms. You thrust your hand forward and it trailed down to Claire's backside. Her eyes literally shot wide open as she jumped up from the bed.

Claire: Ah! Cold! Cold! Cold! Fine! I'm up! I'm up! I'm up! I'm up! Geez.....

After a few minutes, they were finally on their uniforms. Tealle and Claire were wearing the standard female uniform of the Academy, though Claire was not wearing her stockings. As for Sky, he was also wearing the standard uniform for males. Although, he too preferred his signature trench coat instead of the blazer, making you smirk in amusement.

You: You too, huh?

Sky: What can I say? I just love my coat.

You all turned towards the door, and saw a few of your stuff still unpacked from last night.

You: Ugh. Who would take all these much stuff?!

Sky: Uhm, weapon's maker here, bud. Ring any bells? Of course, I will still need a few weapon parts, upgrades, and modifications for Dawn and Twilight.

Tealle: I-I didn't bring much stuff! Honest!

Claire: I just couldn't leave my wardrobe behind!

You literally face palmed at their replies, except for Sky which was completely understandable.

You: Fine. But let's hurry up, if you guys don't wanna be late for the first day of school.

--------Meanwhile----------

Inside Team RWBY's, Weiss Schnee is seen sleeping soundly in her bed. Her eyes flutter open and she stretches her arms above herself, yawning, while Ruby Rose, dressed in her strangely-colored school uniform, creeps up on her side and suddenly blows a whistle, causing Weiss to fall off the bed.
Ruby: Good morning, team RWBY!
Weiss: (from the floor) "What in the world is wrong with you?
Ruby: (ignoring the question) "Now that you're awake, we can officially begin our first order of business.
Weiss: (getting up and brushing herself off) Excuse me?
Yang: (holding a collection of objects - pillows, pamphlets, a candle-holder - in her arms, also dressed alongside Blake Belladonna) "Decorating!
Weiss: What?!
Blake: (lifting her suitcase) "We still have to unpack." (the suitcase opens, spilling its contents) Aaaand clean.
Weiss does not look enthusiastic, especially when Ruby knocks her back again with the blow of her whistle.
Ruby: Aaaalright! Weiss, Blake, Yang, and their fearless leader Ruby have begun their first mission! (raises her fist into the air) Banzai!
Ruby with Blake and Yang: (doing the same at her sides) Banzai! (they turn at an angle as Weiss lays on the floor)
Yang places a poster of six guys in various poses named "The Achieve Men" on her part of the room. Weiss positions the painting of the Forever Fall forest to perfection and walks away. Blake is busy putting away her books on the shelves, picking up a copy of Ninjas of Love and widening her eyes as she warily looks around before putting it back. Ruby positions Crescent Rose at an exact angle against the curtains so she can perfectly slash a diagonal portion off. A quick zoom around the room (and the repaired curtains) ends with the girls admiring their handiwork... with one problem. The beds are cramped together in the center of the floor.
Weiss: This isn't going to work.
Blake: It is a bit cramped.
Yang: Maybe we should ditch some of our stuff...
Ruby: Or we could ditch the beds... and replace them with bunk beds!
Weiss: Umm, that sounds incredibly dangerous.
Yang: And super-awesome!
Blake: It does seem efficient.
Weiss: Well, we should put it to a vote!
Ruby: I think we just did.
To the sounds of two dings and a single buzz, Blake thumbs up the idea, Yang makes a double-rocker gesture, and Weiss angrily curls her fists at her side. Decided, they rush at the beds, where sounds of jackhammering and sawing are heard until they gather back at the front of the room.
Ruby: Objective: Complete!
While Weiss' bed is simply on the ground next to her art and luggage, Blake's bed is next to her books, which are used to raise Yang's bed over it by placing the novels on the posts, and Ruby's is hanging from ropes on the ceiling with a blanket used as a tent over it.
Ruby: Allllright! Our second order of business iiiiiiiis...! (the room spins until she lands on her bed and a book lands in her lap) Classes... (pulls out a pencil) Now, we have a few classes together today. At 9, we've got to be-
Weiss: What?! Did you say 9 o'clock?
Ruby: Uuuum...
Weiss: It's 8:55, you dunce!
Weiss is the first rushing out of the room and down the hall, the members of RWBY and JNPR peeking out from their doorways to look at her go.
Ruby: (flabbergasted until she decides T-T-To class!
Ruby runs out, followed by Yang, and Blake.
Jaune: Class...?
Jaune loses his balance and ends up toppling Nora, Pyrrha, and Ren on top of him. He manages to get out from under them and start dashing.
Jaune: We're gonna be late!

Your Team's dorm were near Teams JNPR and RWBY. You stepped out of the room, stretching your arms out a bit.

You: Man, that worn me out. Sky, what time is it?

Sky checked his wristwatch, and his eyes went instantly wide.

Sky: 8:57!?!?!

M/T/C: What?!?!

You: Why the heck didn't you say so?!?!

Tealle suddenly touched Sky, acquiring the power of his semblance. Tealle gave us all a smirk before saying,

Tealle: Race Ya!

And with that, she dashed off, leaving a trail of series of blue colors.

Sky: Hey! No fair! That's cheating!

And with that, he dashed off as well. Then you followed them behind by turning your body into a flurry of snow before taking off.

Claire: Wha---?! Now that's totally unfair! I don't possess speed-based semblance!

She then began ranting about being left behind, which you heard. You rolled your eyes, and glided back to her, and carried her while still in your snow flurry form, startling her before finally whooping in delight as you two glided 4 feet off the ground.

You all had only one minute left to get to class and Teams RWBY and JNPR weren’t even half way, this was getting bad. Then suddenly, two flashes of silver and blue dashed past them. Then, they saw Claire riding a flurry of snow. Your body materialized halfway down your torso.

You: Need a lift?

You went past them, then they felt something behind them slowly picking them up. A flurry of snow had picked all eight of them up and was following you as you glided at maximum speed towards the classroom. In the courtyard, Professor Ozpin and Glynda Goodwitch watch the three teams hurry through the school. Glynda looks at her watch, and Ozpin simply sips his coffee. You gave them a wave, which Ozpin return with a nod.

-------Meanwhile-------

Port: Alright, let's our class beg-

Suddenly, the professor and the students inside heard the classroom doors burst open. They all turned towards the doorway, to see you, your team, RWBY, and JNPR and Claire. Upon landing, you accidentally created a patch of ice below you, making you and the others slip down and crash below the classroom. The students burst a howl of laughter, wile Port sighs embarrassingly at the late students. You all groaned in pain, as you all stood up.

Ruby: Sorry we're late, sir!

You: It won't happen again, i promise!

Jaune: Same here, professor!

Port: Very well. Now please sit down, so I can continue the lesson. Oh, and Ms. Azure, Mr. (L/N). You two may want to patch those bumps on your foreheads.
You and Tealle reached your foreheads and felt a small bump alright. Sky had it too, but he was bowing his head, while crossing his arms. And with that he walk in front of his desk, and behind it were boards displaying various species of Grimm - King Taijitu, Death Stalker, Beowolf, Boarbatusk, Nevemore, and Ursa.
Port: Monsters! Deeeemons... Prowlers of the night! Yes, the creatures of Grimm have many names, but I merely refer to them as prey! Ha-ha!
You and the rest of Team MSTC, with you and Tealle, patching up your swelling bumps with ice, Sky is taking notes, the small bump still visible in his forehead, while Claire has her head down on the table, clearly having a nap, were seating on the second row behind Team RWBY, who are being seated on the front row. They were in varying stages of interest; Blake and Yang are sitting up and paying attention, Weiss is taking notes, and Ruby has her head propped in her hand as she takes a quick nap until she and Claire are woken back up by Port's bad joke, which receives a cricket-filled silence as a result.
Port: Uhhhh... And you shall too, upon graduating from this prestigious academy! Now, as I was saying: Vale, as well as the other three kingdoms, are safe havens in an otherwise treacherous world! Our planet is absolutely teeming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces! And that's where we come in. Huntsmen! Huntresses..." (gives Yang a wink, which she groans uncomfortably at, and Claire giggles at it, earning her an eye roll from Yang) "Individuals who have sworn to protect those who cannot protect themselves! From what, you ask? Why, the very world!
Tealle: (raises his fist) "Ayyyy-yep!" (stands like this for a moment as everyone looks at her strangely before sitting down, embarrassed)

You: Stay still. I'm not finished with the bump on your forehead yet!

Tealle: Sorry. Got carried away....
Port: That is what you are training to become. But first: A story. A tale of a young, handsome man... Me! When I was a boy...
His words fade into the background (and a series of "blah"s) when Weiss notices Ruby is very focused on penciling the paper in front of her.
Port: ...Despite smelling of cabbages, my grandfather was a wise man. 'Peter', he told me...
The speech evolves into more 'blah's as Ruby snickers at her creation and shows it to her teammates: A general ball-with-limbs-and-a-head drawing of the teacher with stink lines coming from him and "Professor Poop" written underneath. You and the rest of the team saw this too. You and Claire smiled in amusement a bit at this, Sky rolled his eyes at it, but is impressed, while Tealle, Blake and Yang are heard laughing, but Weiss looks annoyed.
Port: Ah-heh-hem! (he waits until he has their attention again) In the end, the Beowolf was no match for my sheer tenacity, and I returned to my village with the beast in captivity and my head held high, celebrated as a hero!
The teacher takes a bow, with Claire and Tealle making an applause, as Weiss slowly gets more and more frustrated with Ruby's antics.
Port: The moral of this story? A true Huntsman must be honorable!
Ruby is balancing an apple on a book with her pencil held only by her finger while making a silly face.
Port: A true Huntsman must be dependable!
Ruby has fallen asleep again in the first class of the year.
Port: "A true Huntsman must be strategic, well-educated, and wise!
Ruby is not-so-subtly picking her nose, much to Weiss' building anger. You and Sky took notice of this.

You: *whispers* Don't you think she's gonna snap.

Sky: *whispers back* Possibly.
Port: So, who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits?
Weiss: (still angry, she raises her hand) I do, sir!
Port: Well, then, let's find out! (he turns to gesture at the glowing red eyes surrounded by shadow shaking the cage that traps it) Step forward, and face your opponent!

Port: Well, then, let's find out! (he turns to gesture at the glowing red eyes surrounded by shadow shaking the cage that traps it) Step forward, and face your opponent!
