I know I'm not the only one.
Take this to heart; everyone who imagines and creates is an artist, no matter what form of art they practice.
No matter what others say.
And no matter how good they are.

Please allow me to disagree on this. Worry not, I'll explain. Not everyone that can imagine IS an artist.Β
Stealing art, trolling is NOT art. Recoloring on a picture or only changing color of an already existing character (like Mario or Sonic) and call it "art" or "original character" does not know the true meaning of creativity and art.Β It is also false to say creativity is creating something that's not exist.
Creativity is coming from the soul, NOT to please everyone. Creativity is not only changing color, it is creating a development for a character, his personnality, A BACKSTORY. It is creating stories that make the characters actually lives. Same about drawing, painting or any activities that allow work on any materials, like wood or even a computer. A true artist won't care for popularity and will create for his own pleasure first, and will NOT COPYING which a true artist don't know how to do it anyway.Β
Though, it is always possible to everyone to practice and improve, ONLY if they could stop recoloring or stealing someone's else artworks, or even trying to please everyone.Β

Yes, everything can be art, yet not everthing will be good art.
However, even if artists must listen to feedback in order to grow and improve, the only feedback they must never pay attention to is to anyone Β who tells you TO QUIT.

people say I have so many ideas but can't really draw them. I say "Yes, you're right, but if I draw it on my PC, it just get's how I wanted it to be" And then say: "But that's not art." Ever heard of digital art? Can't I just be a computer artist?!!

This is so true. I think of myself as an artist, because I write, photograph, and make music. I don't write songs, and I'm not much of a visual artist, but I can create and entertain, so I feel I can call myself an artist. Even actors and performers are artists.
There is a children's book called "I Am an Artist" by Pat Lowery Collins. I recommend it for all ages.
