This is amazing. It's hard to get good looking lighting on an overcast day.
I've always wanted to visit this place!

Danke! It's a great place, and there's an entire field beneath it home to at least a hundred or so prairie dogs.

Bitte schon!
It is definitely on my bucket list. Last time I was in the area, I was at Yellowstone. I have a lot of great pictures from that, and saw a lot of buffalo.

Oh man, I have always wanted to go to Yellowstone. We were going to visit as we were on the way back home towards Washington State(from Wisconsin), but we had no time, and I was rather disappointed because we were so close. Got to see Deadwood, SD, though. Wonderful location.

You need to make a trip sometime. The springs are amazing (but stinky because of the sulfur) with bright colors. You should also circle to Grand Teton, Arches, etc. It's National Park Central over there.

Of course, of course. I will definitely take the trip. As an aspiring geologist or volcanologist, it's a must-see.

Oh nice! I have some geologist friends. They get to go on cool trips to the field.

Oh? If anything, I'm all for Earth Science as well as astronomy, but geology catches my eye the most. It is all incredibly interesting.

I bet! Haha very different too. One watches the earth, the other the sky. A lot of people tell me astronomy is a lot of math and not a lot of actually looking at the stars though.

It is true. When I took my Astronomy course, I had to do a lot of Algebra before I even took Algebra. But I did well in the class, and it was a lot of fun. Arbitrary point, but we had this inflatable star lab we would blow up every Thursday. That was exciting.

You would probably have to do calculus level stuff if you take it in college lol
And that sounds really cool! I've been to an observatory a few times, and that's a great experience.

Ahahah, yeah, and that's why I would rather study geology. Chemistry? Perhaps. Took that in high school, but I know if I take it in college, it will be brutal.

Take it from someone who did chemistry in college - it's actually another name for physics lol
We basically spent one year on introductory Quantum Mechanics.

Mmmm, physics... I wish I could take that at college level, but I know I'll be tortured by how complex it is.
