i love this painting!!! She looks like the pirate captain who truly loves being out to sea <3 she's so happy and content here. i feel like i've been waiting to see this side of her forever. Isabela desperately needed some contentment after all she went though in the games and comics.Β

all the women in DA2 were very large breasted, even the elves if i recall right. Isabela in the comics, though, was more proportionate. i think that kind of went hand in hand with the elves looking different in 2, as well, I want to say the devs excuse was it was in Varric's point of view, which is why the boobs were all huge and elf noses looked odd-angled.
