Description
A set of 12 Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends badges I designed in Embird and stitched on a Janome 350e embroidery machine. Each is about 3" across and is an iron-on. Artwork for all the character badges came from a sheet of stickers someone at the CN studio sent me as a gift years ago. These are not for sale, sorry.

Lol don't worry I know what you mean. Unfortunately my eyesight is no longer strong enough for needlework or beading, so I'm happy to be doing this now.

SPA: Realmente impresionante, ojala alguna vez los productos de cartoon Network lleguen a Mexico, sobretodo de Foster's ya que estamos hartos de puro Ben10 y las PowerPuff Girls.

I think the Duchess one is awesome. Eduardo is the hardest one to do because of all the little hairs.

That looks awesome! How did you convince Cartoon Network to send you the Foster's stuff?

Lol I didn't "convince" them of anything. I run a large Foster's site at fosters-home.com and I always posted a lot of screengrabs after every episode aired. It turned out that the artists would actually use my screengrabs for reference when working on the show because I like backgrounds and minor characters and different expressions and always take lots of screengrabs of those. It was easier to just click through my website than to try to search through their reference material. One of the storyboard artists started emailing me regularly and then he started sending me gifts. I haven't heard from him in a long time now but I wound up with a bunch of neat stuff and some personal drawings.

That's really cool! I too also study screengrabs on popular cartoon characters, so it can help me practice on my cartooning skills. I too am planning to become an awesome cartoonist such as Craig McCracken so I can create and pitch my own ideas for cartoons on Cartoon Network. But I am still just a beginner. Once I graduate from CalArts, then I'll look for a good place to work, such as Cartoon Network Studios.
By the way, I hope you don't mind me asking this, but is there a way I can get some Cartoon Network stuff that I cannot get anywhere else like you did?

I have no idea. :/ I don't know who you would ask. I got mine by working hard and giving up part of my life to maintain a website and online community for many years.

Yeah, you are right. I do not know who I would ask, considering where I'm from. You see, in Missouri, we don't care about art or cartoons at all. Even though I do go to Toonfest in Marceline, MO which is Walt Disney's boyhood home, (I live in Brookfield, MO) it still does'nt matter much, since art and cartoon are heavily looked down upon in Missouri. I guess I can try what you're doing, work hard to become a famous cartoonist, just as you have worked hard on your "Never Forgotten" site. Maybe, over time, storyboard artists and cartoon creators might look at my work. You'll never know.
