Description Merry (slightly late) Christmas ! And thank you for your lovely letter and giftart.

This piece was originally drawn back in july, I think, as a result of a bet me and Val had (I sorta lost). I always wanted to get around to coloring this one, so I figured now would be a good time... sooo... Merry Christmas again, Val! Love you.

First off, hello there and thank you for commenting!

As for the name of the character - Valius wasn't created by me, he's a friend's RP charrie and honestly I have no idea where the name comes from.

Personally, I use a lot of languages for naming my characters - I usually browse random baby name lists from various languages to find some name I like. Often enough, seeing that I'm Finnish, I pick some Finnish name and twist it around a bit. To non-Finns our names sound exotic enough for most RPing purposes - actually, Finnish names tend to be found from numerous games including KotOR (Juhani is a very common, traditional Finnish name for a boy).

Heh, I have a dilemma with your pieces.

On the one hand, your linework is fairly high standard, and the coloring for the most part good as well; the pics have character, you seem to capture the similarity while adding your own touch to it.

On the other hand I bloody disagree with pretty much all of your takes on both kotor and JE. And Bastila has no business wearing the latest in HarlotWear.

Still though, my dislikes are subjective, while a pic's class isn't, so keep up the good ( if misguided ) work.

Haha, that's actually quite an interesting view. Misguided work. No but honestly, I completely understand what you mean. It's darn refreshing to hear that at least some people have their own opinions of fandoms and refuse to agree to whatever the artists in the said fandom happen to put out.

Anyway. As for fandoms, hey, everyone's entitled to a subjective opinion (and something like "no, dude, YOU are COMPLETELY wrong!" is a legitimate opinion, as long as no one gets really worked up on it. It's all fiction, c'mon ). For instance, I usually have Bastilla paired with fem Revan (so I'm tacky *rolleyes* sue me), but that doesn't make either of us wrong or right (well, it does sort of make *me* right, but only in my twisted brain, so whatever).

Heh, there was supposed to be a point to this, but I have no idea what I was going to write anymore. Uh, "stay in school"? Or something ;]
