Inspired by the ideas of "Mares in Black" 😄

– I wanted to create a big digital art using my new knowledge of GIMP, namely vectors.
– I did this work in my breaks from another project "I don't want cupcakes" .
– I wanted it to be easier to create than "I don't want cupcakes".

=== history ===

Dec 2013 - Feb 2014

The beginning of its story looks the same as the story of "I don't want cupcakes" . I had drawn the pencil art in my little notebook in December 2013 and I had no intention to make something digital. But soon I realized that I wanted to share this art with the Internet very bad. I didn't consider my pencil drawing was cool enough to share, so I decided to try creating a digital version using GIMP.
I did "Smile, please!" in my breaks from "I don't want cupcakes". I finished the both almost simultaneously, while the first one took 3-5 times less time than the second one.
Surprisingly to me, "Smile, please!" got more attention than "I don't want cupcakes". And that's how I realized that the result perception have no dependency on the time spent on the work! 👍
