Last of the MYOs I've finished that don't need an outfit for me to post (aka, they don't need them but man, I need to design some clothes already). I really just wanted to design something around a Koi fish motif, lots of oranges and reds. Doing the splotches was time consuming to look natural, but in the end it was fun! I tried doing a few sketches for MerMay with this dude but all of them really didn't look great, can't seem to figure out exactly how I wanna proportion his body traditionally (as Cyprin are v long and I need a better ref to show his exact proportions). Hopefully I'll get something done for MerMay since last year I skipped.
But considering I was doing a set of adopts but FireAlpaca didn't save a bit of my 2 hours of work, doubt : ) I don't wanna redo all that

I also usually use very Fantasy / Wild names for my characters, but when randomizing some names back when I was trying to name everyone who didn't have a name, Hyeon-Ju popped up and happened to describe what I felt his personality will be super well, so my variety expands slightly. Still love me my ridiculous fantasy names though haha
