OOF I love Sonic Riders and the art style, it's just appealing and aesthetically pleasing.

Tom was supposed to be the first since I haven't even designed a board for this girl but OH WELL I wanted to draw her today
I've really debated on it and am kinda digging the name Wire/Cable? Or something similar?? The name really fits her physical build -- wiry and strong -- and her abilities, being able to act as a conductor/grounder, and just... OH MY GOD IT FITS?? I'm just not sure since someone mentioned it in reference to another character and now I'm not sure I wanna use it anymore eyyy, the first time I decide on a name and someone's comment has destroyed my confidence ~.<.~
Ehhhh I'll give it a bit to rumenate, but I really like it ughhhgghh and I'm so picky about names, it was one of the first choices, though, and I tend to go back to those.

ANYWAYS

SONIC RIDERS. One of my favorite Gamecube games and one that I rented and never owned. Sad life. So I sat down with my brother and we powered through in one day and had fun messing around until we had to return it, almost ten years ago now isn't it?? UGH
Gonna digitally download every Sonic game I can, one or two a month, on my PS4 and LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST.
ONCE THE SEMESTER ENDS

MOVING ON

This took over two hours since I was being a perfectionist, and it's only a half body. It took another two hours to put it here on dA eyyyyy, everything goes on Sonic Amino first. My page there is "I can't see" if you're interested in WIPs and extra details.
Hope to do full ref eventually, though I probably will just do my generic style, or a mix? Strictly Riders takes a good chunk of time to look good, and drains me

NEXT UP, ADVENTURE?? The shading and eyes for that style are so HARD but I love it ugh. She wouldn't really fit into that style of game, since she can't fly, doesn't have a mec and doesn't run at SANIC SPED, but I love mimicking all the Sonic Styles.
If not Adventure, I can always go to Classic since all of them need that, and it could be based on their old designs (in part for Tom and the Raccoon at least, not cable the Badger here).

DIFFERENCES
The main differences between regular and Riders are
The Shirt: different design
The Gloves: Inverted colors
The Shoes: not shown
The Goggles: These aren't her main goggles and just have colored lenses, the top one being a seperate layer to keep them from reflecting too much light. She wears these during competition and challenges, as her regular lenses are especially made for blocking out light during building and constructing and so are too dark to wear in regular situations.
The Hair: Her bangs are actually dyed white, and fade over time. In this situation she hadn't re-dyed them in time for the competition and so only have a slight bit left in the middle. Her board and travel plans took over all the time she had and so forgot about it.

Extreme Gear: Board and Shoes
Type: Power type
Exclusive Gear: Blast Board - sacrifices basic speed in favor of short rapid fire boosts, can be tricky to control
Can Use: Power and Speed gear (too heavy for flight gear)
Current Team Name: n/a
Current Team Members: Tom (Flight)
Side: Neutral, though in the first race they're going against the "villains"
Specific Board Stats: Unavailable as of this time

In her time (shortly after Sonic Riders series) the Grand Prix have simply gone on as a means of prestige and fame. The riders compete for the fan's support and fight to win the races in record time, and those that win are known all over, and have a chance at prestigious prizes and exclusive gear.

Unfortunately not everyone can make it on time and the teams aren't always full, and so she drags Tom, who came to be a spectator, onto the team to fill one of the empty slots since she showed up without a plan and without a care! She was going to compete in the single's competition but one of the teams really pushed her buttons, talking down on her board (which she made herself, not just an improvement), and she's ready to SHOW THEM WHO'S THE BEST!
So in the short time that's left they need to drag in a third member, teach Tom how to balance and SOAR THROUGH THE RANKS!
