I'm still learning, but it's taking forever...

i dont have any computer software.. or even a scanner, so i have to do it all by hand and then photograph it. but hopefully my dad is buying me a scanner and loads of computer software like photoshop.

In this case: Illustrator is good for the backgrounds and the inks.
Photoshop is good for any effects, but it is really hard to use.
They told me the best ones are paint-tool or sai (you can find them for free), but I have a Mac and there are no versions for it.
Mac is better than a pc for computer graphic, though!
I never tried Painter, and they told me it's quite good...

Anyway I've been practicing on manga for 5 years now (in my spare time).
I used to paint classical watercolors and draw realistic style illustration before, but this is funnier.
