Trying a thing! I went through my ENTIRE Toyhouse and picked one character for every single hue, and I'm arranging them in groups of head/bust shots!

6 of these 8 are Pokemon related XD

Top row: Kris (Jolteon gijinka) - Minn (Final Fantasy 1 Thief, the only dude here) - Cyanne with Kirara (trainer, Let's Go Eevee) - Jelena (Deerling gijinka, designed by wandering-kotka )
Bottom row: Agni (Flareon gijinka) - Renette (Vulpix gijinka) - Connie (Seaking gijinka) - Cimmeria (Fire Emblem, Dark Mage)

The "shading" as it were is this same hue, just on a different layer set to Multiply. The light and dark are just white and black on a normal layer set to 50% opacity.
