XNALARA image comic of Thor challenging a majority of the UMvC3 cast to try and lift his hammer.As the legend goes, "Whoever doth lift the mighty Mjolnir will prove worthy of the power of Thor and to rule Asgard." Doesn't matter how strong one is. You're not worthy, the hammer won't budge. However, looks like someone unknowingly did...
This was inspired by a comic did (but can never find now) and the hammer scene from the 2nd Avengers movie.

Took me forever to do this as I had to bust out every available UMvC3 I had once I finally got a Thor model by . It also crashed the XPS program a few times due to the amount of models on screen at the same time.
All characters and their respective games belong to Capcom.
Spiderman, Wolverine, Ironman, Captain America, Deadpool, Ghost Rider, Dr. Strange, Phoenix, X-23, Thor, Iron Fist, Hulk, She Hulk, Storm, and Magneto belong to Marvel.
All models by their respective extractors.

You know, several of those Marvels have lifted the hammer before, but if they can't by 2010, then the "Harder and Edgier" approach has been REALLY counterproductive.

Also, Felicia's back view when she addresses Thor is a NICE bit before we watch her holding Mjolnir to return it to him.
Oh, and not to mention Morrigan in her updated outfit when she's bowing down with the rest of the cast before a laughing Thor (whoever was kneeling behind her had a GREAT view!

Although if we wanted to look at this from a technical standpoint, Odinson has since lost the ability to wield Mjolnir and he now no longer refers to himself as Thor because of this. The current Thor (and Mjolnir's new "owner") is Jane Foster. Steve Rogers (Captain America) has been deemed worthy to wield Mjolnir and both Hulk and Vision have managed to lift Mjolnir purely by strength.

Hmm, so perhaps (part of) the secret to "being worthy" is to not know that you have to be worthy or at the very least voluntarily put the thought out of your mind.
Would explain why Vision could lift the hammer in the movie; it wasn't that he was a robot but instead he just didn't know about the whole worthiness clause.
