Description
This character was built from the ground up in 3d for the kadenze comic class.Β I then went back and made a custom toon shader to give him a little character.Β All in 3d, no linework.Related content

I need to be better at modeling, working on it though!

Really? Damn, I still have to learn that. Looks good How long did it take you?
Or rather, what program and how much training did it take you to get there?

Only a day forΒ the model and an hour or so of figuring out how to custom a toon shader, the render took like a minute. Used 3dcoat since it's what I use for my gaming work and it's quite intuitive to learn. All self taught just by messing around with it.Β

You got to have brains for learning things that way. Nice
It reminds me a bit of OFF though. I think the characters from OFF would look great made this way.
But I guess I have to learn modelling myself first before I can talk this way '^.^
Anyway, great job

It just takes more time then if someone was drilling it to you. But learning it on your own you tend to do things differently so you get nice original styles like this Β What is OFF? I am curious!

No, I am curious! *points at profile name* (worst pun ever)
It's a short surrealistic pixel RPG game that breaks the fourth wall pretty much all the time. You go out on a Quest to purify this world you are in,
and the game makes it very obvious that it knows of itself as a game, by ex. you have to pass multiple areas - which are frankly named Area 1, Area 2 and so on.
The characters are all plain white with dark black lines, and there is also a character with a cap, which is why your picture reminded me OFF it.
It was made by a french guy with the alias Mortis Ghost, but an English patch has been released.
It isn't the best one I've played, but it was certainly very interesting and did give me a new viewing angle on some things.

I haven't played Undertale yet, but from what I heard Undertale is better. But OFF is definitely worth the short play through.Β
