before I plan to make the purple crab cursor set but when I start to change the color I feel it looks strange and I don't start to make it, but lately I try to change the color and I feel it fit with the green leaf and I make the purple version, the description below is original red crab and leaf cursor set.

this is a Linux cursor set of the Crab and Leaf 16 color version. I like the small crabs and I sometimes draw them, and I draw the small pixel arts for the winamp skin, and lately I draw the 32x32 sized small pixel art from my art, then I feel like making the windows cursor set. the color contain red, green, light green and black, I've used the 256 colored monitor many years ago, on that PC the 16 colored cursor works well and I think this cursor set can use on that old monitor. and I add the left handed cursors.

the Windows cursor set is easy to make because it only need 15 cursors, and I use my crab and leaf icon arts and make the cursor set. but on the Linux cursor, before I think to transfer my favorite Windows cursors to Linux but I'm overwhelmed so many kind of cursors and the symbolic links, and it's hard to find the way to convert the Windows cursor to Linux XCursor, finally I notice the RealWorld Cursor Editor have the plugin allow to use both Windows and Linux cursors.

it's hard to know the each cursor but it's too many and I don't know where the each cursor is used, I refer the Adwaita cursors and it have 123 XCursors and symbolic links, I finally fill the cursors with my crab and leaf icon, and check the cursor and symbolic links one by one, but there may be some bugs, there are too many cursors.

on the pencil cursor, first I use the windows version that the big crab have the skewed spear, and I know this cursor seldom show in windows and most of the graphic editors don't use the custom cursors, they have their own good cursor for drawing, but on the Linux the pencil cursor is sometimes used on the graphic editors and it use on the fine drawing, then I think the vague hotspot isn't good to use, and I notice the UpArrow.cur on windows cursor, I haven't seen this cursor is used, and the design is good to use as a pen because the crab's spear is straight and the tip is very sharp enough to use the drawing pen.

on the zoom-in and zoom-out cursors, first I think to show the roupe with + and - mark but I think it't not fun and after I notice put the + and - mark in center and show three small crabs.

on the bottom_left_corner and ll_angle, and the other direction, I want to show the crab on every cursors and the both cursor set have the same design.

on the color-picker cursor, first I use only 4 colors on this cursor set, but the color-picker is color related special cursor and I use the white color and show the cute flower.

Edit: I think the main cursor and link cursor are shown long time and I decide to add the animation, now the crab have several motions on normal cursor, and the crab have some animation on link cursor.

in January 2021, I find the green fish icon editor the good icon editor and it can create the 64x64 sized icons and cursors, and I notice when it enlarge the 32x32 cursors, the simply enlarged 64x64 cursors come out without the resample effect, I see this outcome and I decide to add the 64x64 sized cursors.

on the Linux cursors, the file size is far bigger than windows cursors, and when I add the double sized cursors, the file size become 5 times larger size, I feel it's incredible size. and on the way I notice the left_ptr cursor is huge and I decide to cut off around a half of animating effect. the filesize is reduced but I feel it's still large and I'm annoyed to show this cursor set or upload as a HiDPI 64x64 version, but I don't want to show many variation from the same cursors. on seeing the Gnome standard Linux cursor theme, the Adwaita have more size variation and filesize become far larger, and I decide to update this Linux cursor set.
