this is Crab and Leaf Cursor Set for windows purple version, first I feel the purple crab is strange but after I think the purple and green is good color combination and I just make purple crab cursors, it's easy to change the color and make the color variation but it take long time to apply on all cursor files. the description below is from the original red crab version.

this is the windows cursor set of the Crab and Leaf 16 color version. I like the small crabs and I sometimes draw them, and I draw the small pixel arts for the winamp skin, and lately I draw the 32x32 sized small pixel art from my art, then I feel like making the windows icon set. the color contain red, green, light green and black, I've used the 256 colored monitor many years ago, on that PC the 16 colored cursor works well and I think this cursor set can use on that old monitor. and I add the left handed cursors.

on the hand.cur, first I make the crab with big leaf and it's main arrow.cur but after think of making the hand.cur, then I don't figure out what form is good for clicking the link on web browsers, then I notice the big leaf is special version and finally I decide to use it for the link, and I make the smaller leaf for the main arrow cursor.

on the IBeam.cur, I think it's better to put "I" to look the text well, but I feel the bamboo formed "I" is interesting and I treat it.

on the small crab arts, I use it from my winamp skin that contain two 11x11 sized icon and they appear on this cursor set.

on Uparrow.cur and NWPen.cur, I'm not familiar with these cursors, and I think it's difficult to make with my drawing style. the up arrow is easier to make when I give up using my hand made drawing. on the NWPen.cur, first I think to draw the pencil but it's complicated and unnature, and it contain yellow color, finally I use the long skewing arrow the crab can grab it well.

on the wait.ani, I think of using the grape art I've used it on the winamp time font, but it's too small to show on 32x32 icon, there are easy way to change, I just enlarge the each piece of the grape 1 dot and it works well. and this time I use the yellow green color and the grape become the sultana or muscat.

on the busy.ani, it's hardest thing to me. first plan I put the big crab in center and lay the grape below the crab and show the eating scene, but the crab's scissors become strange and I give up this idea, then the good idea come up, showing three small crabs is really fun, and I expect it's very easy way but after I feel to make they looks moving describe a circle. I prepare the 24 pattern icon but after I notice the three craw move the same position and finally I use only 8 patterns. I try to turn to the vertical fliped crab on some crab but in that case the motion looks too busy and noisy, I feel only moving in circle line is smart. I'm really pleased with this outcome, they looks they are dancing.

Edit: I accomplish this cursor and I see the small crab and then I feel they are so cubic and it's not looks like the crab, and I want to make them more flat, 1 pixel shorten in height and it looks flat somewhat. and on the small crab diagonal view version I try to show a foot. on the winamp EQ sliders, the size is only 11x11 and I can't show the foot, this time I extend 12 pixel in height and I can show it.

in December 2020, I think the Busy.ani show the three small crabs drawing the circle is too simple and I decide to add the small moving variation.

in January 2021, I feel the normal cursor is shown so long time and I feel it's better the main cursor is animated and now main cursor show several motions. and I decide to add some animation on link cursor, it changed on hovering on the links.

and I mind on the NWPen.cur, the crab have the skewed spear and I feel it's a few strange, and I think the top of the spear isn't sharp and I guess it's not good to work on fine pieces. so I decide to convert the UpArrow.cur which is straight spear and have sharp head, and I make new UpArrow.cur simply placed the small up arrow. on the Linux version, the old Uparrow.cur is the same with the hand writing cur, so now the both design become the same.
