I'm doing some Christmas Requests (voted on!) and this was a clear winner, so I decided to draw it first~ This particular idea was thought up by Sunbae-AngelAfter some initual trouble and a lot of effort, it turned out to be a really fun pic!
Though I don't like to do this to Kakashi...

i really love this draw but there is one thing i want to know. did this scene really haapened or not? because i finished all naruto & naruto shippuden episodes (films too) and i didn't see it. so sad

"Where are we going?"
Sakura smiled as they made their way into the forest. "You honestly don't remember, Sensei?"
"The place where Naruto made 'idiot' an officially common word," Sasuke spoke, his eyes directed nowhere but forward. Naruto gave him a look of annoyance.
As the former and always Team 7 approached the clearing, Kakashi was the first to speak. "Brings back memories, huh?" He paused. "This was.. our first mission."
Naruto walked over to the middle of the three posts in the training ground, placing his hand on the top. "And to think I was tied here once; It sure does, ya know?" He chuckled. "Hasn't changed a bit.."
The three students glanced at one another, with gazes of nostalgia and content; even Sasuke, who had been missing from the Leaf Village for some of that time in-between, felt so as well and accepted the feelings resistantly. They turned, then noticing a confused Kakashi staring at them with an inquiry.
"For what reason made you bring me here, all of a sudden?" Again, glances floated about the four.
"After the war, we've been out and about rebuilding everything and we've been so busy.. it'd be nice to have a little... reunion, ya know?" Naruto responded at last. He knew his intentions wouldn't be kept for long.
"A little game, Kakashi sensei. Just to.. I don't know.. bring the team back after everything we've gone through." Sakura added in.
"What they mean is a friendly- challenge. Quit stalling and get to the point, loser." Sasuke derided, half-mockingly. "I haven't been in one since the last time we were here. It'd be nice."
"A game?" The senior raised an eyebrow. *What were they planning? And of all places, why h-* The wind blew as a soft breeze brought the sound a soft jingling noise. Kakashi looked down, two silver bells dangling from his pockets. He understood instantly.
"Whenever you're ready, Kakashi Sensei!" A familiar voice sounded behind him. Naruto smiled, his blue eyes brighter than ever. Sakura was in position, her stinging glare firm but lethal. Sasuke's eyes were closed, but he formed a grin that said it all.
"R-ready..? Wh-" Kakashi blinked in disbelief. Split second, they were gone. Not a sound, not a hint. Above or below? Nothing. He stood for a good half-minute; things had started to get suspicious. *In the last test, Naruto and Sakura attacked without hiding. Now, I can't sense even one of them..* He turned around, looking the other direction. *I've read Make-out Tactics so many times, I've basically memorized them by now. That trick won't work either.* A bird soared above him, its calls breaking him from thought. *Where were they?*
"You've lost your touch, Kakashi Sensei." Sasuke had broken through time-space, hand already reaching out to grab the bells. Not only that, Naruto had already been there as well; It seemed he had traveled with his teammate in order to re-enter the shinobi world as sneakily as ever. Sakura was below him, forceful hand at the ready.
"Hold up, hold up!" The retired jonin leaped into the air in a frantic attempt to escape. Too late; the ground was shattered to splinters and pieces of broken rock. There was no place to land. Kakashi could feel the amount of chakra forming from Naruto's hand. The Rasengan! Sasuke sneered, his eyes focused on his sensei's, but his hands reaching for the bells. There was nowhere to go.
Kakashi closed his eyes. *I'm about to die a very horrible death.*
"You know what? Screw this. Screw the whole thing. You can have the bells."
Two hands closed. Two bells jingled. The wind blew; was the battle over?
Poof.
"Wh- A SHADOW CLONE??!1!11!??"
The End.
(Honestly, the only reason I made this short theoretical short-fic with this twist was to give another option for this to end as I thought of in the first place, but having Kakashi ending up with giving up the bells would be something worth watching as well. I took the ending script from mrm64 and Patriot-112 Hope you like it! C:<)

poor kakashi, what has he gotten himself into this time. I think Team 7 has finally got the team work down, the shattered ground looks amazing they have manged to not get mad each other and finally work together, but i feel bad for Kakashi i mean how much more can he take from Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura.

I can totally see why you picked this one because it's really a great idea to draw a remake of the bell test. You've done an amazing job here !! Love the moves and how you added blurred area to show that. Plus the shattered groud looks stunning. I've been really happy to find this piece in my inbox

Kakashi's hokage reign was one of great importance in the recovery time following the last great ninja war. One day he sent a secret missive to the original members of team 3 to meet him at the old training area to discuss a top secret mission. Sakura, Naruto, and Sasuke all show up in the morning and kakashi debriefed them.
Kakashi "I apologize for inconvenience, this urgent business must be attended too and I wanted you three to be the first to hear about it."
All three look intensely at kakashi bracing themselves. "I want to test your abilities one last time like in the old days." He holds up two bells and they all understand what it means but are confused as too why this was urgent.
Naruto "Sensei you didn't need to summon us here so urgently to relive some old times."
Sakura "I have backed up work I need to attend to. Can't this wait."
Sasuke keeps reserved knowing kakashi would not disrupt his journey to do such things for nostalgia alone.
Kakashi "This time only one may win this contest by obtaining both bells. The one who obtains both bells will become hokage."
All three suddenly jolt awake and stare stunned at kakashi.
Sakura "Your stepping down Sensei!"
Kakashi "I feel it is time and I can think of no people better suited to take over than you three."
Naruto and sasuke look at each other with a heated glance. Sakura thinks about why she was invited as well but then aknowledges herself and refuses to be left behind and gives them all a determined look.
Kakashi "I thought that is how you all would feel." He take the bells and swallows them. All three look in astonishment at kakashi's action. "You didn't think I would make it that easy for you? Now show me how much you've grown."
All three look at each other nod and engage kakashi.
Kakashi manages to evade naruto's fox tails while sasuke vanishes and reappears behind Kakashi. Kakashi uses kamui to escape Sasuke but naruto throws sakura to where kakashi warps in. Sakura engages him in taijustu then throws some boulders as he manages to chidori through them and evade some. When sasuke manages to strike him in the back sending him sakura who pressure points him in the stomach making him vomit up the bells. He retreats using Body Flicker Technique into the ground then quickly ties the bells to his waist fazed at how fast they managed to get the bells out of him. Then all of a sudden he is pushed out of the ground into a three three way ambush by naruto, sakura, and sasuke. (The picture.)
After a brutal series of events naruto manages to obtain all the bells while sakura and sasuke are disappointed and kakashi is lying down completely drained they all let out a hearty laugh. They then help carry each other back to konoha.
