Is one of those drawings based of a photo of a wolfhound and an owl? 'cause I also thought it was such a cool sight!
That saber-tooth cat looks damn good (don't know if it would make a very good mount though XD).

A whippet and an owl, was going to be a present for someone, but I swapped the idea for another drawing.
