But do you have any idea who THEY ARE?? щ(ಥДಥщ)In case some of you don't get this picture means.. That sentence is acctually a quote from this show(One Piece) itself..
You see, 'The God' are mostlikely reffering to "Celestial Dragon", the world noble..
While The 'D' clans(like Monkey D Luffy) are(maybe, it's still misteries) the rebels.
And as the quote says, Some people determine them as enemies.
And let me tell you the obvious.. Trafalgar Law, is acctually Trafalgar D Water Law..
and Cora-san, is a(former) Celestial Dragon.
I just love the friendship in One Piece! There's nothing more touching than proving a stereotypes wrong- I nearly cried ;~;
Cora-san & Law's friendship(or father/son.. or lovers.. I don't even know how close they are) is my newest and most favourite!

Yes, this. Law couldn't care less if Cora-san was a Marine, or a Celestial Dragon, or literally anything. Cora-san is his "most cherished person" and that's all that matters. ^^
And wow, this picture is absolutely adorable and beautiful! Aaah, my heart melts..! 
I guess it was the same with Corazon too. At first he only cared about Law because he was a D. (and because Law reminded him of his brother), but then he stopped caring about such things, and just loved Law for who he was. And he loved Law so much that he was ready to die for him. It... It breaks my heart, but it's very very beautiful..! ;__; <3
And again, I just really really love this picture. The colors are beautiful, and I'm glad to see Law and Corazon happy. They really deserve happiness!

Awwww such a cute picture and I love when stereotypes are proven wrong. However I think the relationship between Law and Cora-san, the ASL brother, and Dragon and Sabo seem to be the the exception. Cora-san and Sabo are both genuinely good and that's why the D clan doesn't mind them at all. Yes I know Sabo is not a Celestial Dragon but his family sure acts just like them. I think if put the D clan with any other Nobles like the one who shot Sabo and the ones who left Flevance to it's fate there would be a lot of bloodshed and missing body-parts. What Odacchi made with them is nothing short of amazing, and not just for the sheer force of the prejudice breaking thing.
If you think about it, Rocinante is too young to be Law's father, too old to be his elder brother, and friendship doesn't really fit either since I see Roci more as a benefactor and Law didn't make it in time to mutually support Cora-san back as a friend would do, since Rocinante died too soon... Furthermore, Law is just a child/teen when they interact in canon, so lovers wouldn't fit either (I can see them as lovers if both are adults, though).
So, in the end, their relationship is pure empathy and love, without labels attached to it.
