I was very close to crying at the ending where Niko decided to save the world (sadly, not knowing that they'll never return home) and shortly after, cutting to a room with nobody in.
This piece reminded me of it; a savior who sacrificed it all to prevent the destruction of a world they did not belong to in the first place
