ok.... now this is going to hunt me for a while. I drew it in my sketch book but wasn't happy with it so I redrew it again and TADA i have a twi-cord picture... and yes I don't really agree with this pairing, but I thought it be cute to show twilights dislike in this picture in the dance position

As someone pointed out on youtube on 'after the fact: flash sentry' i dont think they will do muhc on the show cause its a little girls show. And bf/pairings arent usually flashed out... (though sailor moon, winx club... princess movies...)
The comics are more aimed at bronies for our entertainment. So maybe? Who knows XD

As you pointed out, show for little girls like Sailor Moon,Winx Club or even Monster High that were ripped off by Hasbro when making Equestria Girls was aimed at little girls and they still had romance in there. Beside that previous generation also had romance (in G2) and comics are aimed at the same audience. So theres nothing really against that idea, so Meghan may decide to use romance whenever she want to. Hasbro will not stop her. They would probably encourage her to even put Flash in S5.
