Description
Original quote: "Isn't it insulting to the average male's intelligence to think that surgery is preferable because he can't be entrusted with washing his genitals, when somehow he manages to brush his teeth, clean his ears and blow his nose?" Original Source, as far as I knowI really dislike the pro-circumcision argument that falls along the lines of, "If he's cut, it'll be easier for me/him to clean."
Despite what you might think, cleaning an intact penis is not difficult .
This is how simple it is, really:
1) Gently pull the foreskin back
2) Rinse with warm water only. Soap under the foreskin can cause irritation and swelling
3) Pull the foreskin back in place over the head of your penis.
Infancy - early childhood:
Age of 5/6

Well yes, I do believe that if it is medically necessary to circumcise, that is acceptable. I have a nephew who has this, or something similar to this, and his doctor has suggested circumcision.
However, to circumcise for non-medical reasons is unnecessary mutilation as far as I am concerned.

I'll have to ask my sister in law what her son's exact situation is if the topic comes up again. As far as I know though there arent any plans to circumcise the kid.
