That doesn't prove anything. There is no actual evidence that Jesus existed. He's simply a legend like Hercules. I've read the bible twice, and from what I've seen God and Jesus are pretty fuckin evil.

I'm an ex-Christian, but I'm going to say this anyway.
God supposedly flooded the Earth because it was not what he wanted so he killed everyone except a few people. He didn't flood the Earth for no reason.

That's no excuse. Everyone on earth can't be evil at one time. And even if they were he easily could have just snapped and fingers and erased the evil from their bodies. That means god obviously had malisious intent and wanted to see people die. Β

I think God's idea of morality is different from what most people think it is, and He's really not a nice guy but he is "Good", which means w/e He wants it to mean bc he made everything. but I'm still religious because if there's a chance the only way to get to a peaceful afterlife is to worship a warlike God, then it's pointless to resist i guess

For the most part, that might be true.
We are applying our subjective Morality to a being who supposedly created it. He knows the end and the beginning, yet people still want rag on him. It's kinda stupid to question the guy who is doing what he has to for the sake of it all.

I don't think there's anything God "has" to do, because He wrote all the rules to the universe He made. Does that make sense? But yeah assuming there is a God (and there's substantial evidence in my mind that there is) complaining about what He does is not going to change anything, even if the bad things He lets happen do really suck. A lot.
And the good that comes out of it will always be worth it in His mind but not necessarily for those it happens to.

It is a book that can be interpret many ways.
Personally I can't see a being who literally created everything being evil...probably cause it seems a bit far fetched. Like for God to be evil, something would have to trigger that emotion.

The idea that someone turning to malicious acts because of boredom is a human nature thing, so an ultimate being doing such is rather strange. Yes he created man...but consider the fact that he also created animals which almost all of them don't act maliciously.
Now in the case of his son getting killed...He technically sent him to be killed, I mean he clearly didn't like it, but did it anyway.

But let's not forget we are one planet over BILLIONS; there's a possibility of malicious animal on other world. But even so, the food chain could be considered malicious in itself. But on the other hand, an ultimate being could not see a difference between eating fruits (part of a living being) and another living being...
And despite it... so much horror... I wouldn't be surprised even an ultimate being loses faith in men after all happened...

Which could also bring up the theory that we may not be the first 'experiment'. If that were the case, I'm sure a supreme being would atleast grow patients if this is one of many times he has created life and etc.

Well I'm sure you are referring to the fact that big things eat little things and sometimes out of what seems like pure irony; smaller things killing bigger things. That is more of a pov for biologist.

I'm not entirely sure what you are referring to, considering cannibalism doesn't exactly sit well in the bible.
