One could say it was a hallucination, they technically say the same thing about his resurrection, that the apostles might have been hallucinating. Reason I don't believe it was a hallucination is simply because Satan had tried the same act with Eve. Attempt to tempt.
True, it would not have been a lie. But wouldn't Big Daddy G upstairs just tell the guy who wrote that chapter. "Hey, my son just had the heat vision. That ain't happen."
But here is the thing, I'm pretty sure it technically was a test...probably. Whether intentions were ill or not. God wrote the whole script so ofc he wrote that part to happen and act out. A lot of people can't normally tell the difference between God the self insert character and God the director of the play who happens to play himself. So technically; ol Lucy is actually an actor forced to play himself, but wonders why he isn't the star. He doesn't care about God's 'lil play' but goes along with it because his role is pretty engaging and fun I guess.

But with Eve, the consequence was us being freed from ignorance, and our birth (since without that event, Adam and Eve would still be in Eden, and nor you nor I would have existed.) So this act could have been a generous one... But it could also be, and it's most likely, an act of revenge toward god. I'll say the probability of the hallucination still hold in that perspective.
Yes, but god didn't liked the idea of us having knowledge (Adam and Eve once more), so why letting us kept it ? But he could have changed his mind over time (the christian god is from, maybe even the same as the Jew's god after all). But, what if he told it ? We wouldn't have the lesson that, even when we are in a desert without any water, we have to stay true to what we stand for. I think it's more important than the truth. Beside, what kind of father want his son's weakness to be exposed ?
A puppet wanting to be the hero, but forced to play the role of the villain because the puppeteer decide he would be the hero himself... sad destiny that explain why I decided to bow to no one. It may be a vain attempt to cut my strings, but I'm willing to try over and over.

If you also read the bible you would know that the bible has been rewritten for centuries and was written my man. And the bible contradicts itself all the time. "God created everything" "God created satan" "God created Gay people." Saying its not okay to kill people then say its okay to kill those who make mistakes? Not to mention god had slaves...not a good guy.

Oh, well gosh, I can't accept flattery. For I am not a man worth those kind words, I have said stuff that I'm not proud of in the last year or so, stuff that I wish I could take back, some of that stuff is about the LGBT community, as much as I regret it, I can't let it go until I can make it right. I just only had this revelation about life on as recent as the start of this month. Trying to find more to it all, you know.
I could never accept flattery from someone as kind as you, for I am not worthy of such praises, but I thank you above most things right now for those kind words.
