Yup, all the partners from every Paper Mario Game. Plus Kammy Koopa
All in all 48 characters.
Partners from left to right: Kammy Koopa , Madame Flurrie, Vivian, Parakarry , Red Yoshi Kid, Sushie , Jerry, unnamed Chain Chomp (from the new Paper Mario game for the 3DS), Mario , Bowser, Pink Yoshi Kid, Peach (with Perry), Goombella, Orange Yoshi Kid, Goombario , Watt, Blooey (first form), Kooper , Twink (yes, I made him a Luma), Torque, Hayzee, Luigi , Green Yoshi Kid, Lady Bow, Blue Yoshi Kid, Koops, Cyan Yoshi Kid, Ms. Mowz, Screamy, Black Yoshi Kid, Lakilester, Bombette and Admiral Bobbery

Yeah, you don't have to get them all to finish the game.
Although it makes certain parts easier if you have some Pixls.

Until now, there's only one known partner from PM3DS, that's the Chain Chomp.
And yes, some of these partners are Luigi's.

I know, they are not like the other partners, but they still join Mario's team and can be chosen and stuff... But yeah, that's why they are forming a pixl-bow and aren't really part of the group on the ground.

Hey Nelde! I wish i could help you some how...maybe making a chart with every sprite (characters and enemies) so you know which are done and which are not.
Also you should call Twink, Tyke. Like his beta name from SMG
