All the Goombas from the game "Paper Mario" for Nintendo64.From left to right:
Goompa, Gooma, Goomama, Goompapa, Goombario ,

Goomba, Spike Goomba, Para Goomba, Spike Hyper Goomba, Hyper Goomba, Spike Gloomba, Para Hyper Goomba, Blue Goomba, Gloomba, Para Gloomba, Red Goomba, Goomboss (aka Goomba King)
New Paper Mario is a retexture project for the original Paper Mario game for the N64.
It will be playable on an emulator and my goal is to replace every existing texture in the game, thus giving it a new look.

Yeah me too. They did a good job so far with the scenery. The volcano place looks fun to me. Same with the River rafting part. The ice bros. as enemies is a cool idea. But to me it seems like Nintendo just don't want to give any information on the game. They haven't given much information about it besides the fact that there are stickers and a chain-chomp partner.

Yup, well Nintendo has a lot of games in their line-up right now, and as PM3DS hasn't even got a release date yet, they are concentrating their news on other games right now.

True. Also they might still be in the process of developing the story. I hope the partners are a little more original in this game. The partners in the second one were cool but Goombella, Koops, Vivian and Boberry are just like Goombario, Kooper, Bow and Bom-betty. There are lots of good species they could use as partners like Toads, Shy Guys, Clouds etc.

I only have one problem. I try to dump the textures but for some reason they just won't dump. Do you know how to fix this?

Oh, there could be many reasons... The game, the plugin, the emulator, the settings... Just stick to the instructions and if that doesn't work post your problem in the forum. Sorry, can't really give you THE solution.

definitely...just look at what happened to super mario 64 and super m mario bros. the galaxies and new super mario bros games are too easy.

Well, I never found Paper Mario to be especially hard... So they can't make it much easier

You don't have the Gloom and Hyper Paras, but I classify those in the Para Family, and since they have the same build, who cares.
Also, does anyone agree with me that the Goomba King is a week enemy?

Yes, Goomboss is very weak, but well... so is Mario at that point of the game. It's actually even possible to lose this fight.

Goomboss also appears in Mario 64 DS, and is EXTREMELY easy to beat in that one.
Overall, he is an easy boss.

This idea NEEDS to be done. The first Paper Mario was my favorite...I'd just love to see it on the Wii, or DS.
