Professor Elvin Gaddin New Paper Mario style.
Professor E. Gadd is a scientist who is responsible for a number of inventions that helped Mario and/or Luigi on some of their adventures.
I really like this guy and decided to make him in my New Paper Mario style, even though I don't know where to put it in the game. I'd like to give him a cameo appearance somewhere. Any suggestions?
I also once thought about replacing Russ T. with him, but I decided against that.

Speaking of Super Mario Sunshine, most people think that game is a prequel to Luigi's Mansion, for King Boo says that he is going to get his revenge on Mario, but he only supposedly met Mario at the hotel stage in Super Mario Sunshine, plus, go up to the ceiling in the Hotel stage to the air vents, and the Pinata up there says someone should suck up the ghosts in a vacuum. E. Gadd didn't really appear in Sunshine, but there is references of him in that game, like the symbol of him on Fludd and on Bowser Jr.'s magic brush, plus, like you said, Bowser Jr. said, "This, is my magic brush. When I use it, my dreams come true! A strange old man in a white coat gave it to me." and Fludd, "A strange old man in a white coat?", showing that Fludd knows E. Gadd, for he created it probably just for Mario so he can save Isle Delfino.

Have you guys realized on Super Mario Sunshine that at the Pinna Park (or something called like that) Bowser Jr. said, "a stange old man in a white coat" gave him that paintbrush with the Professor E. Gadd logo on it AND on Fludd. So if we didn't have Luigi's Haunted Mansion, we wouldn't have Super Mario Sunshine.
And Super Mario Sunshine is a GOOD game. It brings back memories. Too bad my GameCube broke..

Replace an insignificant poster within the game with this picture of E. Gadd. It could be an easter egg.

The problem is, that in games, everything that looks the same shares the same textures. So if I replace one poster, I replace them all.

Maybe in Forever Forest, in the hidden area he may have a warehouse where you could buy some things.
If I'm not mistaken, in the hidden area there's a badge. Maybe the Badge block is in his warehouse. There could be some Boos too.

Well, I can't actually add anything new, I can just replace something that's already there.

Ok. Maybe you could replace one of the Boos (maybe the one you give a letter to) and put him instead.

Oh, and about the Unused Badges I told you, I'd like to explain my assumption about it and then you could answer.
You said you could replace existing Badges, right? I read on the Internet and you can actually restore the Unused Badges by using cheats to put them in your inventory.
Another thing, in the Badge Shop not EVERY badge can be bought right? There's an specific lost of Badges available, right? Well, what if you added the Unused Badges to the list of Badges available in the shop? I'm no hacker but it sounds logical to me.
One more thing, the Unused Items like Hustle Drink and such could also be inserted into the game. You could replace the item in a certain shop for them. Like the Shop in Koopa Village. That one sells pretty much the same things like the first Toad Town shop, how about replacing the items in the Koopa Shop that already are in the Toad Shop?

Well, I'm no hacker, either. So no, I can't make the badges available in the shop or replace the items that they sell in the shops.
But yes, I could retexture the badges and items that you can only get with cheats, but I don't really see the purpose, since you can't use them, right?

hmmmm its a tough call, i thought about it and there's no real spot for an NPC to be replaced with him. i think he's better off just being a came, like he made a new invention or something in maybe the toadtown newpaper, sorry cant really come up with anything

The poster of Peach inside the Mecha Bowser the Koopa Bros. drive? That would be a good spot for a cameo cause you only see that poster breifly. Plus it also sort of implies maybe E.Gadd built it and he has a knack for building things that end up getting used incorrectly for mischief.

well, can't he just be in Toad town? If I recall correctly, goombario doesn't tattle on NPC in the overworld like Goombella does, he just talks about the surrounding area. but I dont know if that is true or not. we should check that out, if he does end up talking about a person when near one, then I'd say put E. Gadd on a poster like what you said. but if he doesn't then I'd say put him in Toad Town or something like that, so that way he is in it. If that is also the case, maybe a cameo of Wario and Waluigi?

Goombario tells you something about every character when you're near enough. Besides, that idea would't work anyway, since the characters in Toad Town are mostly Toads and if I (for example) replace the green Toad with E. Gadd, every green Toad would be E. Gadd.
If I take a character to replace, it would've to be a unique one.
