She actually wears a gown made of basically filmy, near-transparent cloth that floats around her like a cloud -- probably made out of mist originally -- that shows all the colors of the rainbow.Β
She is usually described as being sixteen years old, but the original O'Neill illustrations show her as a very delicately built girl (commensurate with the period in which the drawings were made). I like the face you've given her somewhat better than the originals, which made her look something like a fainting hothouse flower, which she wasn't at all.Β
I've read all of the Oz books by Baum (fourteen) and some of the others, many, many times (they were one of the foundations of my childhood.Β

Polychrome was often depicted as barefoot; since she doesn't land with enough pressure to bend a blade of grass (unless she wants to), that doesn't bother her.Β

The character is supposed to be wearing robes and is younger. Other than that she's amazing. wonderful work
