This reminds of the fantasy stories i've read where the people or tribe have a sacred tree that embodies the soul of the tribe as given by the gods....this is indeed beautifull

Makes me think of the grapefruit tree that Pop planted for my mother years before she passed. Β It never really bore fruit, perhaps just a few at a time. Β A year after Mom passed away, the grapefruit tree exploded with more grapefruit than Pop could handle! Β
"I'm going to take an axe to it!" he growled! Β My Big Sister still has the tree at my folk's place (which is now hers) and it still bares grapefruit ... just a bit ate a time now. Β
