This has so much detail; very colorful and extensive! Every one of Miguel's deceased family is present, plus Pepita, Dante, and of course Miguel himself, holding (SPOILER ALERT) what should have been the Rivera Family's heirloom that gets passed down to the living: Hector's guitar.

First movie to make me cry, I couldn't have asked for a better one to break me.
I have already decided that this is my new favorite Pixar movie, I'm even considering that it's now my favorite movie, hands down, but, Nightmare Before Christmas has been my favorite forever, I guess I can still say that's my favorite childhood movie, with this being my favorite movie in general.
Good God, I LOVE this movie so much, I knew/hoped I would, but, I had no idea just HOW MUCH I would love it.

Coco has a special place in my heart, it speaks to me directly for both personal reasons of events that happened in my life, and well, I am Mexican, I grew up nearby a town very similar to Santa Cecilia in the movie (actually was one of the towns the team inspired themselves to make the environment design) , when I saw the movie I got emotional in parts where no one else was, such a nostalgia hit! They got the vibe of the place soooo right, you really feel like you are there! I am so glad this movie exists and the least I could do was homage it, I can't be thankful enough for it <3 <3 <3

It got to me because I love my grandparents and great-grandparents so much, my grandparents having practically raised me and my older sister, I am particularly close to my grandpa more than anyone else. The idea of any of them forgetting about me or me forgetting them is just horrifying.
I adore Miguel, Hector, and the entire Rivera family so much, I WISH I could love my family (as a whole) as much as they do, they all felt so real, so human, every time one of the Riveras, alive or deceased, said that they loved their family I believed them.
