Walking down the stairs and into the kitchen, she went to the counter and started making coffee and toasting a bagel. After eating breakfast, she tugged her trench coat off the wall and walked out to the barn. Unlocking the door, she tugged it open, and slipped into the warm barn, Closing the door and turning around, she surveyed her charges. Annie and Aria were “gossiping”, Danny was dozing with his head out the window, and Toki was patiently waiting for Callie to say “Good Morning”. As Callie walked by, she stroked each horse’s face. Walking into the tack room, she grabbed Annie’s practice tack and grooming bag. Placing them in front of her stall, she went to the feed room, grabbed a bucket of feed, and lugged it to the main hall. Giving each horse a scoop of feed and a sugar cube. Af
