After a quiet arrival, the first team finally started the real trip ! Luckily for Elijah, his first horse is really motivated ! Let's see if the other ones will be the same

The Phase 1 Team is formed by Himene Tarava IHS ridden by Elijah Bondeville

Story :

"Urgh, this damn wind's gonna get me mad before I even finish the first phase !" Elijah glanced at his horse who was flickering his ears and shaking his head because of the constant flow of frozen wind which was hitting each part of his apparent skin. "I know, buddy, it makes you mad too, huh ? Don't worry, one more day and we'll reach the mountains."
He looked at his map and then around him. It was not a difficult phase, luckily, but the paths were somehow tricky from time to time. And the one he was looking for was one of them. After a quick observation, he finally spot the farm he was supposed to pass nearby and then the road he was supposed to take. He smiled when he sees which kind of trail it was. A slight, regular slope with enough space to make a little galop. Good, his stallion was obviously in need to run according to the few piaffe steps he was making from time to time. "Okay boy, let's go." the old man says as he clicked his tongue to make the zlesdin move forward. He gently lead him to the path while he was thinking how right he has been to insist that Trava fitted perfectly the requirements to be an endurance horse. He had prove his words so far and was showing his qualities each day. They were day five of the first week already and the horse was in excellent condition, not tired at all and utterly patient according to the nerves-wrecking situation of this phase. It was easy on the paper, but this wind, this wind... It woould have let even the most resistant man totally messed up after so many days in it.
The duo reached the path and Elijah needn't to ask twice for the horse to take a fast but controlled galop. As they were climbing in a good rythm the top of the hill, Elijah took a quick look around and smile at the dramatic landscape which was offered to his eyes. The adventure was definitely worth it only for the views. Oh dear how he would have loved to share this with Barbara... He made a slight smile. She'd have loved this, even if she was afraid of horses. He looked back straight to the path. The road was still muddy and a fall could happened if he was not attentive enough. He shook his head lighlty. Just a few hours to go until the next checkpoint. He had to focus until then. "Go on, buddy !" he clicked his tongue again to force the speed a bit and Trava didn't fought against the idea as he sped up. His horse was a real phenomenom. He'll definitely miss him for the next part, even if Diggy was an excellent horse too.
