Description
This is my submission for a battle I'm holding with SaintPepsi [link] the subject was to draw 'a sea creature using a land-based coveyance.' I decided to draw a lobster riding a bike because I don't draw either lobsters or bikes very much. I like the idea behind this one but I made an absolute balls of the inking, I truly think I did a terrible job on that. Granted, with colours, it looks ok but take the colours away and it's a muddled mess.Anyhoo, never mind, it's done and posted over at the SketchTavern [link]

I must extend my thanks to Y2Jenn for submitting this as a DD in the first place and many thanks for all the kind comments from the various deviants that have stopped by. Apologies by the way if I can't specifically thank each and every one of you but it's going to take me quite a while to trawl through all these comments!

Although about a million people got to comment on this before me, something about the image of a lobster flapping his tail madly against the seat of the bicycle has me in stitches. Keep up the good work man, you're an inspiration!

You're lobster on a bicycle is awesome. Well, obviously, because it became a DD...but still, rock on!
The perspective on the bicycle looks a little off, but you fixed that by adding some forced perspective via the rhombus in the background. Nice touch!
The painted textures on the lobster add loads to the overall value of the piece. It's amazing what just a few marks or smudges can do for the overall value of a drawing.
I said it before and I'll say it again, Rock On! This is spectacular.
