This is great, the background is fantastic, the sheer scope of it... the picture has this great ominous sense of menace and I can definitely see the influence of Alien.

Very nice, there's a definite sense of... shall we say, foreboding, in this piece. In your mind, you know something is going to happen, and you have a pretty good idea of what and where (great bg by the way), but not when. That's what makes it so captivating. It makes the mind go through the scenario again and again, only to be puzzled by the when. It's that kind of suspense that makes this so brutally interesting.
Either that or i just put way too much thought into this.
I like option one more, honestly.

The big door DOES remind me of Alien! xDD
I really like this, it's just got that vibe that I can't really describe! But point, it's really awesome!
I love the design, and the little figure at the bottom with the bright light.
