Description
Somewhere near my place. They have been that kind to keep a path in this building area: it is open for nearly a year and there is little progress as far as I can see. Really annoying, but some things must be done...Lucky shot? Yeah, most def. Nice one? I hope so, but I think it is.

Dit is gemaakt tijdens de bouw op de hoornsediep/brailleweg, toen het nieuwe viaduct werd gemaakt.

Die heb ik in Groningen gemaakt, vlakbij het Hoornsediep en de Maaslaan. Dat lag toen 2 jaar geleden open omdat ze een nieuwe Fly-over aan het maken waren. Dat was ook het enige fietspad daar wat toegankelijk waa, voor zover stalen platen een pad zijn...
Ik had toen net een nieuwe 10-20 aangeschaft, het vroor heel licht (dus; geen vocht in de lucht, dus helder) en toevallig kwam er een scooter langs. Bij nawerken van het RAW bestand kleurbalans aangepast en - verzadiging gehalveerd. Enige foutje is een klein artefact in het midden tgv diafragma, maar eerlijk gezegd is dat niet storend. Kleine fouten mogen, die houden een foto levend.

Ach ja, nu herken ik het! Echt een heel mooie foto, en dat foutje valt niet eens heel erg op. Echt een prachtige foto!

echt heel gaaf hoe hij tot het einde gaat!.
Ik wil het ook zo graag kunnen, maar ja eerst maar een betere camera dan kopen, want met deze camera krijg ik alleen maar van die bewegende beelden

Zal dat proberen als ik de RAW file nog kan vinden. Meestal probeer ik zo min mogelijk te bewerken aan een foto, maar in dit geval kan het idd een toegevoegde waarde zijn.

The jumpy line of light left by the scooters' taillight looks funny.
Besides that the path looks a little bit confining -- must be a somewhat strange feeling walking there at night.

It was a very desolated, eerie place (now it is finished and normal again). There were nothing but fences and concrete. Most people didn't stroll around there for fun (ok, maybe some murderers and one daft photographer). But I had seen it at day since it is the shortest way home for me, and I thought it could be really interesting. I had bought myself a new wide angel then, and I went the same night to that place. The scooter which passed by that moment gives the photo its special touch. The other one I'd made that night is very clinical. I still am very pleased with the result.

Bedankt! Detail: de platen zijn van staal. Toen ik de foto maakte lag dat terrein al maanden open. Ik had toen net mijn 10-20mm lens, en ik vond dat de meest ideale lokatie om deze uit te proberen. Het resultaat heb je gezien.
