A very good start, but I would definitely play around with the various Surface Maps that Terragen has, as well as the different atmosphere's you can use. Don't limit yourself to using just one sky/surface map

hey! thanks! as soon as I have terragen back (if I ever DL it again...) I might mess around with it more. It was a really fun program. I shall keep your advice in mind

yyyyyyyay, well done well done. Yeah the colour scheme is nice, if you look on the box where you generate the terrain a little lower you can open present land llike snow, desert, grass and things.

Sweet...I'm gonna go play around with that now...well maybe after I work on my latest charcoal piece that's *still* in progress....But I'm really enjoying Terragen! Thanks much!

Cool. I tried Terragen I can't even make a rock much less a whole scene like that. I just dont understand how to work it and all of the tutorials aren't detailed enough. They are all click this move that, CLICK AND MOVE WHAT FFS!

It's awesome even though it's a small picture.

Thank you so much! I really tried hard to understand it, but its really not that hard a program to understand - if you have a whole day to do nothing like me. I totaly understand about the tutorials - they all suck. I bookmarked the site with them and closed it for later use. I reposted the picture in hope that it would be a little bit bigger with more detail.
