I drew some of the characters from "Death Note"...in my own style, so it's most likely impossible to guess who's who. Therefore I wrote the names as well. And added colours I associate with them.
Warning: This description will be long and boring for anyone who doesn't know Death Note and may contain spoilers.

I think I got Near quite well...but children look all the same to me anyways...

Mello was really difficult and he doesn't look like I planned. Oh, and I tried to make the burns in his face look more realistic. Does burned skin look like this? I actually have no idea.

Screwed up Light, looks like a pig. But he also acts like a swine, so it doesn't matter that much.

Misa...I don't care. Next!

Teru Mikami is a strange guy...what should I say? He creeps me out...Delete! Delete! I'd call that psycho.

L was really difficult to draw, too. But he has a cube of sugar, so everything will be fine.

Naomi Misora is probably one of the most tragic characters...she shouldn't have died that soon. I liked her...

Oh, and Matt. There's no way to do Death Note fan art without him, although he only smokes and gets shot. Plus he's the only character I associate with green, which would otherwise be the only missing colour.
