This is probably my biggest one yet. The artwork was quite a challenge, composition and color wise.

I took some inspiration from Simon Stålenhag paintings. I was thinking about Manehattan facilities, Ministry of Arcane Science in particular, and what if there was a mega spell that would collapse and open a huge portal, like in Half-Life. Something like that.
