Found this unfinished fanart recently in my projects folder and decided to give it another chance. I've started it right after the movie came out actually, but then put it on hold, because I didn't really like how it looked. Doesn't look much original now, but hey, at least I finished it.

This is extraordinary! I love the atmosphere and adjusted anatomy. Had the MLP feel yet it breathes with its own life. The iconic war aura was a brilliant touch. Far better than the cartoony non-threatening look Canterlot held even for a place thatβs under attack.
I do understand the young audience the show is directed to, however, Iβve seen Disney do darker things in the name of Plot.
The way you captivated Tempestβs horn was done beautifully, I love the way you manipulated the color and glow to give the magic a surreal yet powerful like look. I just love the way it sits on her horn.Β

By adjusted anatomy I meant the way you drew her with the well known mlp style yet with your own as well. It doesnβt shout βcartoonβ like MLP itself does.Β
