Kaa's stomach growled ravenously, practically screaming for relief for his hunger. How could he have been so blind! He was so focused on pursuing his prey that he never even saw the net left by poachers. Now the emaciated snake was languishing within the hunter's trap, waiting for something, anything to happen. Clearly, the poachers weren't coming -- he'd been in the net for weeks and they'd never showed up. Obviously, he couldn't eat from inside the net, and no prey was about to get close enough to get him to hypnotize them. Even if he could, there would be no way to access the food from inside the trap. He had nothing to do, nowhere to go, no hope for his stomach, or for himself. All he could do was wait for the starvation to take its toll, alone in this insidious confinement.

But suddenly something changed. Kaa looked up in surprise and relief to see a humanoid shape approaching from among the shady gloom of the trees. Was it the poacher finally come to finish him off? That seemed to be a preferable fate to starving to death at this point, but he was still frightened. But as the figure neared him, and its scent became stronger with proximity, Kaa realized that she was far too young and fragile to be a heartless poacher. Besides: she was humming an innocent little tune.

He stared in awe and amazement, the scent of the visitor practically smacking him in the face. The long period of time since his last meal made the approaching man-cub not only smell appetizing but, to his malnourished nostrils, she smelled like the most delicious delicacy conceivable -- sweet, fresh, ripe... As she finally came into view Kaa absolutely knew that he had to eat her. He would have to hypnotize her to release him, and then prepare her for his long-awaited dinner. He'd just have to wait for her to get closer and then--

"Oh, you poor animal, hang on! I'll free you, just stay calm, okay?" The girl's tone and expression were of complete concern and empathy towards the defenseless snake, and he was taken so aback that he forgot his hunger for a brief moment. The concerned girl came right up to the net, giving Kaa a close look at her -- a flower in her blonde hair, cute little skirt with a short-sleeved shirt -- yet even still his thought of hunger had temporarily subsided. He was simply too dumbstruck and confounded that such a frail morsel's first reaction to seeing a trapped predator was to assist it.

Hello, everyone. This is the first part of a collaborative project between myself and featuring his OC Anne and Kaa from the Jungle Book. He and I have worked together to brainstorm ideas, I've written the story, and he's drawn the pages. As a fair warning, there should be vore later on in the series, as well as the obvious coiling and hypnosis, so if you're into those, stick around. If not, that's fine.
