Description
The Astro-political border map of Milky Way galaxy for my story/oral history titled Krieger. The Terrans are the current largest hegemony in the galaxy with the "main" governing body of the Terrans is the Union of Terran Directorates and Domains (or United Terran Federation) which occupies the space called Terran Sphere of Influence; the United Terran Federation is a union of over 50 semi-autonomous Directorates that are Terran-dominated and occupies the "Homefront" space which is 1/3 of the the said sphere of inlfuence and many Domains which are protectorates that are either Terran-dominated by population, dominated by governance or both; several independent interplanetary and even small interstellar alien races that do not belong to the galaxy's other powerful alien races are inside the UTF space but how they are dealt with are usually handled by the Directorate where the said alien race/s are living. The remaining 2/3 of the Terran Sphere of Influence is divided into the Buffer Zone which is the smallest, the Inner Rim and the Outer Rim which is the largest. While the United Terran Federation is the considered legitimate representative of Terrans in the galaxy, breakaway Terrans exists, most of them are in the Outer Rim of the Terran Sphere of Influence and the largest of this breakaway groups is the League of Terran Directorates (or Terran League) which seceded from the UTF due to political and economic reasons and the Confederate Terran Interstellar Domains (or Terran Confederation) which was formed by the Terran states that were "abandoned" by the UTF as the Domains that made up the said confederation disintegrated while others formed their own republics; these two are not recognized by the United Terran Federation but the other alien hegemony have secret dealing with the Confederates as the League have hostile policies towards aliens. Terrans are, not surprisingly, very volatile not only towards non-Terrans but also amongst themselves. The Terran Axis Alliance Pact which is based in Andromeda galaxy has set up an outpost colony in the Milky Way as a forward observations; it is mostly operated by the Zhongxia Tianchao which is the leading member of the Axis Alliance but their outpost is outside the Terran Sphere of Influence to prevent unwanted attention from the Milky Way-native Terrans.
The Treycerians which are large, lizard-like sentient species is the second largest race in the galaxy in terms of population and formerly the most powerful alien race in the said galaxy before the they declined due to years of being united under one banner that by the Terrans first expanded into space, the Treycerians were in steep decline that the Terran were able to outpace them. Despite their once powerful galactic empire is now fragmented, they are still powerful but their military prowess is limited in defending their own territories (which they call the Treycerian Imperium Space) from their own as well as from the UTF itself. The technology of the Treycerians is said to be as advance as the Terrans as the latter "borrowed" from them and eventually developed it further though, making the Terrans slightly advance than them in some field and but the design and aesthetics are suited for their own species which is more elaborate, outweighing functionality with more fanciful aesthetics. The "main" empire of the Treycerians is the Dominus Empire which have existed at the time when the Terrans are united under the Terran Union banner before it collapsed and led to the "Terran Dark Ages" which temporarily made the Dominus Empire the most powerful empire for sometime until the United Terran Federation was formed. The Magnus Kingdom is the one of the renegade kingdoms of the Treycerius that broke way from the Dominus Empire after the said empire made a peace treaty with the United Terran Federation which the Treycerian duke of the said kingdom saw as a sign of weakness, thus he rallied Treycerians who have the same sentiment and seceded from the Dominus empireΒ which led to a civil war. In the midst of the war, several vassal kingdoms in the Dominus empire seceded from the empire after years of being discriminated as the Treycerians living in this vassal state are similar to the "untouchable caste" and the civil war between the Dominus empire and the renegade Magnus kingdom was enough for this vassal state to secede as the Dominus empire would not be nosing about them but there are "untouchable" Treycerians who are against such movements which force those who want to secede to force them on their side or perish; many resisted and fell to the pro-secession vassal states that now forms the Argus Kingdom. While their policies towards non-Treycerians are neutral, they are summarized by others including Terrans as "isolationist."
The Teuthians are a sentient species that are tall, with slender legs and elongated armor and heads shaped like a diamond and are known to wear armors that appears to be made of crystals or materials similar to it. As for their technology, the Teuthians are slightly more advance compared to the Terrans and Treycerians in terms of performance though some of the Terran and Treycerian technologies are in the same league as Teuthian technology. Originally the other powerful sentient species in Milky Way galaxy that is locked in a three-war cold war situation with the Treycerius and Tolseburgs until the Terrans emerged as a hegemonic power in the galaxy. The main empire of the Teuthians is simply called Galactic Empire which is named as such as they see themselves are superior that the other sentient species and even had influence beyond their borders. While not shown, the Teuthians' Galactic Empire possess colonies in Andromeda galaxy. The other Teuthian interstellar govnernment, the Interstellar Systems Alliance are the less fundamental of the two and is more open and tolerant towards non-Teuthians.
Lastly the Tolseburg which is the less fractures hegemonic sentient species in the Milky Way galaxy have establish the Cluster Collective States which is a confederacy of Tolseburg states established across the Milky Way galaxy. Like the United Terran Federation, the Collective States was created to prevent internal fighting but unlike the Terrans, the Tolseburgs are still united under a single banner but with a consequence: they are very hostile towards non-Tolseburgs as being united means they must have a common enemies. Technologically, they are less advance than the Terrans, Treycerians and Teuthians and their devices are crudely made but because of their notoriety, specifically almost 3/4 of the worlds in their space are overpopulated, they tend to have greater population than the other hegemonic species and could theoretically mobilize a large army and fleets when needed. For Terrans, they are "Orc-like" due to their looks, crude technologies and savagery while the Treycerians see them as "undesirables" that needs to be kept in-check and the Teuthians see them as "degenerate" brutes.
The Centuarians also have established an "outpost" (actually a colony outside the Andromeda galaxy) as they are a native of the Andromeda galaxy and the purpose of the outpost is to serve as an "embassy" even though their outpost is larger than the one established by the Terran Axis Alliance and because of the different warring clans, it can't be say to which clan the outpost swore its allegiance as they use a symbol not known or different from the rest of the Centuarians in Andromeda galaxy.
