Description
Here is the color scheme I am currently using for my Colored World Map series, displayed on a simple WorldA map. It uses Ashtagon's (incomplete) X2 scheme, which can be viewed here: ashtagon.deviantart.com/art/X2…Cook Islands, Donetsk and Luhansk have yet to be assigned colors on the X2, so I have decided to use the TOASTER scheme's colors (creator unknown), at least until there inclusion on the X2. I warrant this decision because, from what I can tell, the TOASTER scheme was greatly influenced by Ashtagon's scheme, particularly in Africa.

fwiw, I have a bad feeling that time will show Donetsk and Luhansk and their short-lived Novorossiya project to be Russian puppet states rather than genuinely independent states, with the same going for some of the frozen-conflict new states in the Caucasus. If so, it would be better to use the paler Russian shade instead of a completely new colour.

Well, I plan on showing rebel controlled territory in conflicts in Yemen, Syria, Libya and elsewhere (including FARC!), colors for which you've already provided. The Donbass Conflict has largely de-escalated into a stalemate, much like conflicts in the Caucasus and Transnistria. In fact, I liken this situation to that of Sahrawi, in which the "rebels" control only half of their territory. But, unlike the rebel groups I plan on showing, they claim, with some legitimacy, to be a sovereign nation, and as such their outline will be a disputed border and not the red rebel border.
Since the Donbass states can either be considered non-recognized countries or rebel groups, I will include them either way.

Actually, it's the other way round. Toaster began as a result of someone getting frustrated at my disinclination to include numerous corner-case conceptual nation-state colours.
X2 uses as primary inspiration colours from TACOS, UCS, GCS, ARCS, and a few lesser-known ones of similar vintage (CCS, TCS, ANUCS, MCS, TCS). Toaster came after X2.

Ah. My apologies. I will update my post for you. Also, if you were interested in including Donetsk and Luhansk (based on your remarks on the X2, I'm guessing not), here is the information I am using, as well as the Cook Islands. I uploaded it here:
