No artist I know would attempt to install such details. It looks to me as if it came from a surreal claymation film. There is so much to a watch that is symbolic. You even have your own special meaning to the symbolism of a watch. It isn't a regular metaphor I see very often either. So congrads upon a daily deviation from an utter and complete stranger lol!
