Exterior design for the stark naked minimalism. (It is just me; nothing wrong with blank rectangles...)

What is needed here is a coat of arms on the wall panel to the right of the entry .

awesome!! wish i could render like this...is c4d hard to use? or same with 3dmax??

nentamer In reply to davens07 [2011-01-03 18:49:06 +0000 UTC]

hard? not at all. in my opinion the workflow is similar to 3dsmax. the object and layer browsers are convinient way to manage big scenes full of ojects.
I'll propably never come back to 3ds but who knows
If You need to change software, good advice for You: switch Your keybord shortcuts on those You already know! It's the easiest way to learn new software. The tools are similar and work pretty the same way.

uhmmm..about the rendering engine..like vray? is it faster or same timeflow with the 3dmax?(not involving pc specs) the program only.. actually i still dont know about 3dmax..im deciding which is better to learn c4d or 3dmax sorry for asking

First of all are You beginner or advanced user? Differences are unless You are unexperienced user.
I've switched from to modo302 from max (outrageous difference). After getting some skills I was able to build my first building. Than my boss told me to switch on cinema and I've "stucked" for good I guess
C4d is easy to use and rocksteady software compared to max. It's also important when You work on big sceens weighting sometimes over 600GB. Vray for C4d is also quick and stabile. The only difference is that it is made by unofficial team and You have to wait some time for updates.
The general rule is to learn tools techniques not software.

I hope I helped.Sorry for my english.

Very cool. I love the evening ones! Full of atmosphere.

I'm new to C4D but I'm trying my best to learn
Is Fryrender a plugin or.....how does it work? WOuld be nice to get some tips from an experienced user >< Have hit a dead end in online tutorials and I'm lost.
Help!

thanks, that render was prepared as late evening scene, but there are still two sliders active: with sun and sky. in small amounts the sunlight in night scene can be usefull to simulate the moonlight aswell DD
