This moment takes place within the first few seconds of Phoenix meeting Edgeworth after 7 years of no contact. The implication is that Nick acts as though he sees Edgeworth every Friday night at 7:00 for a drink and Edgeworth acts as if he cares more about Wright's appearance rather than how he got that way."Wright, how'd you manage to become a hobo?"

I kinda like Phoenix this way. I mean, yes, he was certainly a better deffense attorney than Apollo, but Phoenix is a lot smarter than he was back then.
Though personally I wouldn't mind if he got his badge back in GS5, but Apollo's a fun character too. XD
