Description WIP, obviously. Loooooong ways to go, but it's slowly taking shape. I kinda like the general feel of it, but I have a feeling it may be generic...... ah well.

DOH, I just realized why people are commenting on this instead of the pic I just, "supposedly", uploaded. I must've named the more recent update the same thing as this... Argh. Gotta re-upload it. <_<

Hmm...blood asp? Yeah it does have a resemblance, come to think of it it reminds me of the Cauldron born Chassis.

Ok Comments:

The Bad:

1. The legs have 1 xtra joint which can result in the further weakening of the reverse joint series of legs.
2. The Joint spacing of the Thigh-To-Thorax (i 4got what its called) might prevent the mechs ability to turn.
3. The Mechs Feet needs enlargement since it will be carrying high RECOIL payloads itll need the addtional "ground" coverage (i forgot the term again)
4. And the torso initial postion is far from the Chassis "Center of Gravity" failure to reposition will be disastrous.
5. Torso too small to house both the ammo and pilot and generator at the same time consider adding a "Backpack" to both adjust the center of ravity and provide additional space.

The Good:

1. Finish the mech i wanna see

Heh, can't say I've put much thought into the realism of it. This pic is a bit out of date, but since the general shape is the same I don't guess it makes much difference.

The Bad:

1. True. Mobility and appearance were in mind.
2. Yup, I think it was you who brought that up on later versions. I'm still trying to work out a new hip joint, tho I may never even get the chance to use it on this particular mech.
3. Another good point.
4. Yup, that's why I changed the location of the cannons.
5. That depends on the scale of the mech. Most of it is occupied by the generator(a compact generator ), and mechanics for the arms and waist. The pilot is more towards the front, and doesn't take up too much space. No ammo in the body.

The Good:

1. LOL, I want to finish it and get it over with.

generic? well dunno lacking detail its hard to think up if its generic or not, the basic concept may be, but it can get really cool if you put on some good details

It looks like a Battletech Blood Asp 90ton mech, but without the missile rack. But hey, the Blood Asp's my fave mech, so that's a compliment. Plus it doesn't have the Asp's silly legs. Can't wait to see more of it.

Thanks. I haven't seen too many Battletech mecha, really, outside of the MW games I have anyway. Although I ran a search through Google, I guess it does look a bit like a Blood Asp. But the finished design I have in mind is considerably different, luckily. The body will be longer and more streamlined(as will the rest of it).
