so did i, he's so amazing of an actor. perfect for playing Sherlock Holmes,
he even read the stories so he could get an understanding for the character

oh definitely! He was brilliant in everything he did. Haha, yes, he devoured the character like his own, so much, that he even suffered some signs of depression from making his role perfect, although majority of his later depression came from the death of his wife

i heard he got so into his roll as Holmes that he got to where he actualy thought he was Holmes.

yah same, but it somewhat sort of makes sense. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle got really upset and frustrated with Holmes, but since he was so much in demand at the time, he brought him back to life
