hmm my fave is probs saturn because. colours and shit. also you did a gr8 job on all of them.
the one that i think has the most improvement is neptune because theres a lot more depth added especially in texture and the mood it gives me? idkΒ

lmao it's cause it's literally the only thing i've focused on for most of my drawing ccareer
and that's weird cause someone else also said neptune looks good when personally it was my least favorite lmao
i think the most important lesson learning here was dON'T USE LINEART. or you can but merge the layers afterwards so you can add more detail in later. but yeah the first year ones basically used a coloring-book style creation where i draw the lines and then color it in but that's bad don't do it

yeah some of my pieces are still very lineart heavy. what i try to do in every piece is to only use it as a sketch and layer the painting itself overtop, but sometimes it looks better with lineart. im trying to use it only as a crutch now. anyway gr8 job! love ur art

cool but when i say NO LINEART i mean for pixel art
i mean lineart is probably okay but i don't do it because i hate it and interestingly enough the whole reason i started painting and pixel art is because i hate lineart
imo painting is better for your soul bc it works on form and color, two of (in my opinion) the most important aspect of art to get down (besides anatomy but fuck anatomy)

im trying to work in not being very dependant on lineart since i want a more painting-esque style
lol also anatomy is so difficult ill be drawing and be like "this is good. i cant get this wrong" then ill flip the canvas and will be forced to take back all my confidence in my art like everΒ

but i think a lot of it has to do with experience - how long have you been drawing? i only started to evolve out of the sketchy style over the course of the last two or three years, it'd take you a similar amount of time to have your art start to look like mine. my first human drawings from ~2 years ago were shit - absolute garbage, and even to this day anatomy is still kinda weird so it definitely isn't just you
